- Read in it this weekend.
- Bring it to class.
- Be ready to tell about it on Monday.
- Tell about the main idea.
- Tell what you think is going to happen next.
- Tell one new vocabulary word.
Find a newspaper.....Seattle Times maybe, or whatever English newspaper you can find. Choose an article. Read it. Don't worry, you don't have to understand everything. Bring it to class to Show and Tell your classmates.
Winter Journal:
- Write about a famous writer in your country. Tell why you enjoy or don't enjoy his or her books. Do you think your classmates should know about this writer? Why or why not?
